A few months ago, I wrote about the fabulous gifts my kids gave me on Mother’s Day. Yesterday, I pulled one of the papers out of my “50 Days of Happy” jar and here is the quote it contained.
“Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree,it will live its whole life believing it is stupid.” ~Albert Einstein
How great is that?!
Everyone IS a genius! Maybe you’re a genius when it comes to:
- Building homes, or
- Inventing things, or
- Writing novels, or
- Investing money, or
- Doing brain surgery
Or maybe you’re a genius at:
- Making friends, or
- Preparing delicious dinners, or
- Organizing a home, or
- Planting a garden, or
- Remembering people’s birthdays, or
- Hugging a child, or
- Loving an animal
Or maybe, (just maybe) you’re the very best (in my opinion) kind of genius; the kind of genius who:
- Realizes your thoughts create your reality and so you focus on what’s going right, rather than what’s going wrong, or
- Appreciates everything you already have, rather than taking it all for granted, or
- Spends more time thinking about what you do want, than you waste thinking about what you don’t want or don’t have or are worried about.
That’s the kind of genius I aspire to be.
What kind of genius are you?
Forgive me for generalizing, but I believe engineers just think differently than the average person. My opinion, based on working with and being friends with my fair share of engineers, is that their brains process things differently than mine and perhaps yours. Continue reading
Thoughts become things.
We become what we think about.
Like attracts like.
However you want to say it, The Law of Attraction works every time, for every person. Whether we’re looking at the business, friends or resources we want to attract, we do it the same way…
with our THOUGHTS. Continue reading
“The emotion you feel is always about the vibrational variance between where you want to be and where you are. If you’re out of balance, there are only two ways to bring yourself into alignment: Either raise your expectation to match your desire-or lower your desire to match your expectation.” ~Abraham Continue reading
John David Mann, Me & Bob Burg at The Go-Giver Retreat
One of the many highlights from last week’s Go Giver Retreat was listening to John David Mann, co-author of “The Go-Giver.” In addition to being a fantastic writer and a really nice guy, John is a very engaging speaker. Something John said really stood out for me. He said
Trust that the Universe
is conspiring to help you Continue reading
Last night, as I got into my bed, I reached for my cell phone to turn off the ringer. In the brief moment between when I got the idea to turn it off and when my hand touched the phone, I remembered that I had wanted to call my son earlier, and never got to do that. ”I’ll call him tomorrow,” I thought.
No need, because at the exact moment my hand touched the phone, it rang and it was my little boy. Continue reading
Perhaps my favorite teacher on Law of Attraction is Esther Hicks/Abraham. And I think the reason they are my favorite is because they KISS~ Keep It Super Simple. In a nutshell, the lessons I’ve learned from them can be summed up in two words~ FEEL GOOD. Here is the daily quote they sent me today: Continue reading
This might sound a little “Randy Gage-ish” of me, but I’m gonna say that again…
God~ The Universe, Infinite Intelligence, a Higher Power, Energy, Spirit, Source, whatever or whomever you choose to think of as God.
Care~ judge or have an opinion about Continue reading
Over the weekend I was working on a new page for my website, showing the different Master Mind groups I offer. I decided to include a picture of the three different books we can Master Mind together, which was pretty simple~ Copy~ Paste~ Done! Continue reading
A few days ago, I heard my first “after-the-holidays” comment of the year. It came from someone who wants to participate in my Guided Meditation Workshop. She has “been thinking about meditating for quite a while” and when she saw the program she thought “this sounds perfect!” And she is really excited to get started…in 12 weeks. Really?! Continue reading
